The Séka Hills Olive Mill and Tasting Room is located in the heart of the Capay Valley. The custom designed, Italian made Alfa Laval mill serves the milling needs of both the Tribe and the growing ranks of surrounding olive growers. To preserve the most flavor and the greatest health benefits, the Séka Hills milling process allows minimal air exposure, ensuring the freshness required to produce the finest quality extra virgin olive oils.
With a goal of zero waste, the mill’s waste disposal program is part of the Tribe’s commitment to conservation, sustainability and environmental stewardship. Olive water goes to research and cosmetics, the pomace to cattle feed, and the remaining water, dramatically reduced, is used to supplement irrigation water on some of the Tribe’s agricultural lands.
Certified Kosher, the Mill is available for contract milling and offers facilities for bottling, “tote” dispensing and temperature-controlled storage.
